Aus dem Tiefen Wald dringen unheimliche Geräusche! Die Karls-Bande ist natürlich neugierig und will unbedingt herausfinden, woher sie stammen. Um jedoch das Rätsel der mysteriösen Geräusche zu lösen, müssen alle Karls-Kinder mit anpacken - und Kasimir muss lernen, seine Angst vor dem Unbekannten zu überwinden. Mit Zusammenhalt und Mut gelingt es der Bande schließlich sogar, einen neuen Freund aus seiner Not zu retten.
