Dr. Anne Kling stürzt aus dem Fenster. War es Mord? Die Kommissare Polanski und Lehmann tauchen ein in einen Sumpf aus Bestechung, Korruption - und schmutzigen Geschäften. Dr. Anne Kling, seit Jahren für "Ärzte ohne Grenzen" im Ost-Kongo engagiert, stürzt aus dem zwölften Stock ihres Berliner Wohnhauses. Einiges spricht für Selbstmord, denn Anne Kling war seelisch ausgebrannt. Doch die Untersuchung der Toten ergibt, dass sie ein starkes Betäubungsmittel genommen hatte.
