I still remember that fateful day, when these terrible events began. It was the seventh of July, when the weather had reached an unbearable temperature, and the five mission workers were busy digging desert sand, in that desolate spot, four kilometers away in the heart of the desert, west of (Valley of the Kings). The mission included only three archaeologists, in addition to the five workers, and I, and among these three scholars there was one Egyptian, my master (Khaled), who studied Egyptology and competed in it with his British colleagues... and even surpassed them with his intelligence and Egyptianness.
