Paul Hubbard, der Geschäftsführer der 'Ill Bones Foundation', stürzt aus dem obersten Stockwerk eines Büro-Hochhauses und ist sofort tot. Allem Anschein nach ein Selbstmord – nur Sir Alfred Langdon, der Stiftungsgründer, ist anderer Ansicht.
