After my kidnapping, I was still in hospital when our next case came upon us. A man in his late thirties was brought to A&E in severe pain. Poisoning was the diagnosis, which fortunately he survived. Subsequently, the victim, Mr Walters, hired us to prove the attempted murder allegedly carried out by his wife. The matter, however, turned out to be more complicated than anticipated. There were also additional unfortunate 'accidents' that filled Mr Walters with sheer terror. But was it really his wife? In the end, Holmes and I had to mourn two tragic deaths...
