Die drei Freunde Niklas, Linus und Melissa - Mitglieder der Pfadfindergruppe "Pollution Police" - kommen einer Bande von Schatzräubern auf die Spur, die im Fürstenwald unterirdische Sprengungen durchführen. Die Gauner haben es offenbar auf ein verschollenes Golddepot aus dem Zweiten Weltkrieg abgesehen und lassen sich durch nichts von ihrem Vorhaben abbringen. Ein Fall für die "Pollution Police"!
