'About Love' is one of the famous stories by A.P. Chekhov (1860–1904), the great Russian writer. Small landowner Pavel Konstantinich Alekhin tells his guests about his love for the charming Anna Alekseevna, the wife of the chairman of the district court. Anxiety and despair take over them, because lovers are afraid to show their feelings. The author masterfully describes the love experiences of the characters, the hopelessness and hopelessness of the current situation. The story 'About Love' is part of the famous Chekhov cycle 'Little Trilogy', which unites several works with one common theme. Chekhov Anton Pavlovich is the author of famous short stories, stories 'Ward No. 6' and 'The Black Monk', as well as such works: 'Case from Practice', 'Ionych', 'About Love', 'House with a Mezzanine', 'Gooseberry', 'Jumper', 'Student', 'During Holy Week', 'Avenger' and others. For more than a century, the works of A.P. Chekhov have conquered the world's theater stages: in terms of the number of plays he has performed, he is second only to the English playwright William Shakespeare
