内容简介： 未来大银河时代，人类的足迹遍布银河系，许多银河系生物资源被人类挖掘利用。睡豚就是其中之一，这种长得像螺丝刀的奇怪生物，因为头部所含的激素'包治百病'而被人类捕杀。但由于睡豚整个群体都在熟睡，没有任何醒来繁衍种族的迹象，人类最终放弃了对睡豚的杀戮，转而将睡豚所在的东始星列为生态禁区。为保护禁区内的生态资源，打击猖獗的盗猎偷猎现象，还设立了生态巡航检查制度。
