Lena führt ein zurückgezogenes Leben auf Amrum und sammelt Meerglas am Strand. Damit möchte sie sich etwas von dem zurückholen, was ihr die See einst genommen hat: Vor fast 20 Jahren ist ihre Mutter, eine gebürtige Italienerin, nicht vom Schwimmen zurückgekehrt.
