On the morning of December one thousand nine hundred and ninety -six, an anatomist Jill Taylor, a stroke in the left lobe of the brain, was a rare stroke, caused by an artery explosion in her head with congenital deformity, which had not been discovered before. Within a few hours, Jill lost her ability to walk, talk, read and write. She lost the ability to remember the details of her simple life, and she was able, after extremely trouble, to contact her doctor to inform her of what happened to her. The clot that my insight illuminated, is a documentary journey, which begins since Jill has severe bleeding in the brain, until its complete recovery, nearly eight years later. The book is a rare personal experience, for the brain scientist who has documented what she lived and wrote in the spirit of neuroscience, and the patient's body, who suffers from the loss of his physical and mental abilities.
