Tinkerbells großer Traum wird Wirklichkeit: Sie darf mit den anderen Feen zum Festland fliegen. Kaum angekommen sieht die kleine Erfinderin ein Menschen-Auto und ist sofort fasziniert. Ohne nachzudenken fliegt Tink dem Auto hinterher. So wird sie schließlich entdeckt und landet im Vogelkäfig eines kleinen Mädchens. Zum Glück hat die Windfee Vidia alles gesehen und holt Hilfe.
