Als Meister Eder dem Pumuckl die Mundharmonika wegnimmt, wird der ganz schön trotzig. Genau wie die Nachbarskinder, die von der Hausmeisterin ausgeschimpft worden sind. Pumuckl hilft ihnen, die Frau mit Papierschnitzeln zu ärgern. Aber dann tragen sie auch noch extra Schmutz vom Hof herein. Und eine tote Maus!
