Wir Bastables haben nur zwei Onkel und keiner von ihnen ist unser Verwandter von Geburt. Einer ist ein Großonkel und der andere ist von Geburt der Onkel Alberts, der bei uns nebenan in der Lewisham Road wohnte. Als wir ihn kennenlernten (es war bei ein paar Ofenkartoffeln und ist eine ganz andere Geschichte), nannten wir ihn Albert-von-nebenans Onkel und dann kurz Alberts Onkel.
