The first part of 'The Enchanted Castle' follows Stick, Mane, and Pop as they enter the castle for the first time. Gotthardt presents the magical atmosphere with a lot of suspense and visual/auditory details that the reader can almost feel there. Once within the castle, they find some caged animals and encounter a sorcerer who is definitely trying to do something fishy. The girls decide to save the animals and stop the black magic desires of the evil magician. A must-read for fans who promise to stay with our heroines till the very end!
