Der Pumuckl will unbedingt die Tulpendiebe im Hof erwischen. Bald stellt sich heraus, dass der kleine Fritz seiner Mutter mit den Blumen zum Geburtstag eine Freude machen will. Er hat die Tulpen einfach abgerissen. Um dem Buben eine Lektion zu erteilen, lässt der Kobold einfach dessen Goldhamster aus dem Käfig. Und schon ist das Chaos perfekt.
