2015 - Die Sonde New Horizons verschwindet auf der Höhe des Zwergplaneten Pluto am Rande des Sonnensystems spurlos.
2037 - Die Sonde New Horizons II erreicht den Pluto und geht ebenfalls auf mysteriöse Weise verloren. Zuvor sendet sie bestürzende Bilder von Resten einer außerirdischen Zivilisation auf dem Zwergplaneten zur Erde.
