Eine Ratte lebte unter einer hohen, mächtigen Fichte, deren Astwerk bis auf den Boden hinunter wucherte. Ganz in der Nähe hausten eine Eule, ein Wiesel und eine Katze und machten der Ratte das Leben sauer.
