Es war einmal ein Königskind mit einer Haut so weiß wie Schnee, mit Lippen so rot wie Blut und Haaren so schwarz wie Ebenholz. Sie hieß Schneewittchen und lebte auf dem Schloß ihres Vaters. Und es war einmal eine böse Königin, die sich nichts sehnlicher wünschte, als die Schönste im ganzen Lande zu sein. Als ihr Zauberspiegel ihr eines Tages erklärt, daß Schneewittchen viel schöner sei als sie, befiehlt sie ihrem Jäger, Schneewittchen in den Wald zu bringen und zu töten. Dieser jedoch hat Mitleid und läßt sie gehen. Schneewittchen flieht in den Wald und entdeckt ein kleines wundersames Häuschen...
