Kermit der Frosch hat einen Doppelgänger. Sein Name ist Constantine und er ist der gefährlichste Ganove der Welt. Constantine gelingt die Flucht aus einem sibirischen Gefängnis und sein Komplize, Dominic Bösewicht, sorgt dafür, dass der Muppets-Frosch an Constantines Stelle verhaftet wird. Jetzt kann der gefährliche Doppelgänger Kermits Platz einnehmen, während Dominic als Tourmanager für die Muppets arbeitet und ihre Welttournee organisiert. So kommt es, dass in jeder Stadt, in der die Muppets auftreten, ein Raub verübt wird. Doch wieso merkt niemand, dass Kermit gar nicht Kermit ist?
