Nur fünf Zentimeter ist Mäxchen Pichelsteiner groß, der von allen nur der kleine Mann genannt wird. Als Artist wird Mäxchen weltberühmt und bekommt verlockende Angebote von den größten Zirkussen der Welt. Aber eines Tages ist er plötzlich weg.
