Als ich nach Emmaus zog, Erzählung von Peter Rosegger: Am Ostermontag, wenn der Gottesdienst vorüber ist und im Waldlande die Leute beim Mittagmahl sitzen, kommt es vor, dass einer sagt: »Heut ist Ostermontag, heut sollen wir nach Emmaus gehen.« Und fast allemal entgegnet ein anderer: »Nach Eb'naus (eben aus) gehen, das ist bei uns im Gebirg eine Kunst.« Aber der strenge Hausvater verweist: »Gescheiterweis reden! Heilige Sach ist kein Spaß!«
