The streets of Pandavapuram are ridden with spies who want to tear off the life of orphan girls. Every bride who comes to Pandavapuram prays to the goddess to keep them away from these spies, and to protect them from their magical garland. A novel that follows the reader through strange memories is an example of innovative imagination. The novel won Kerala Sahitya akademi award in 1982.
