Ganapati is one of the famous Telugu novels, written by Chilakamarthi Lakshmi Narasimham. The story of Ganapati revolves around the villages in the East Godavari district. The story tells about a Brahmin family in the social setting in 1910-1920. Talking about the social practices of Kanyasulkam and many others of those times, the story runs in a comical way.
