Wolfgang Niedecken ist Deutschlands erfolgreichster Mundart-Rockmusiker und Frontmann der Kölner Band BAP. Der wichtigste Einfluss auf seine Musik ist das Werk von Bob Dylan: er hat zahlreiche Cover-Versionen der Songs von Bob Dylan veröffentlicht, hat Bob Dylan mehrfach getroffen und in der höchst erfolgreichen ARTE-Produktion "Bob Dylans Amerika" als Protagonist mitgewirkt. Er ist ein profunder Kenner seines Werks.
