Faith Sounders' Leben ist perfekt. Als liebenswerte Ehefrau und Mutter lebt sie den Traum einer Bilderbuchfamilie in Südflorida - bis sie zusammen mit ihrer vierjährigen Tochter Zeugin einer Entführung wird. Während der seiner Zeugin gefährlich nahe kommt, haben die Ermittler große Mühe, ihr noch irgendetwas zu glauben.
