Captain Roger Slade bittet Pastorin Bailey um Hilfe. Sein Sohn ist spurlos verschwunden, seit er vor fünf Tagen mit seinem Fischkutter in See gestochen ist. Kurz zuvor hatten Vater und Sohn einen heftigen Streit, weshalb Slade sich große Vorwürfe macht.
